For folks headed westbound to the Rally from the Albany, NY area, info on route 20:

http://www.preservenys.org/seven/usrt20.htm

http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/ny_us20.html

A number of routes connect 20 to 90 if a jump to the slab or vice versa is indicated

Thank goodness. If I don't get out of this heat and humidity soon...

FYI, tentative plan is to roll in sometime late Thursday afternoon. I guess I'll head over to the Lafayette, check in, and then ride over to Ed's house?

I could, but to be honest, I am a little afraid. I could change my mind at the last second!

I know you just want to stay closer to John, but be honest with yourself...he's bringing Nancy...it looks like you're WELL out of the picture now buddy.

No he's not!! Nancy deflates and can be tucked away into a saddle bag where she won't see a thing.

and now, for something completely different...
is there anyone going to the rally who has bigfoots(12 or euro47) and could really use a pair of waterproof boots.Alpinestar Ridge is the model. They are too big for me so I only tried them on, got em on closeout pretty cheep.
I dont imagine a bunch of folks want them (high card if so) but it would be nice to see them go to a good home

I just saw the pic for the patch this year, I need to pay more attention to the threads even if they're for rallies I'm not going to. I'd go nuts trying to figure out where'd I'd sew that on my jacket. I mean, it doesn't even fit with the theme I've got going on my sleeve. I'm sure I would find a place though.

I'm just getting some stuff ready for my trip to Hawaii in a few hours. If I was going to the rally I'd be getting ready to leave this weekend. I need a rally bad.

On a side note, why does it always rain when I clean my speedy? I used up the last of my Honda spray cleaner last night cleaning off the dirt form the last time I rode and got caught in the rain. I went riding today and nearly got drowned in this torrential downpour between Columbia and Charleston. I swear that I can't keep that bike clean for more than 24 hours.

You could put this patch right next to the 2006 Daytona patch Gordon and I got you. It is on the jacket right?

Priorities, my friend, priorities... Hawaii will always be there - A good rally may not. I'd chuck those plane tickets, forget about how clean or dirty that scooter is and head NORTH.

Work is making me go to Hawaii and if the job has to be done then I guess it might as well be me that is forced to go . At times I'd rather be at the rally 'cause it's not like work hasn't made me go there before.

Oh, and of course the patch is on my jacket, yeah... I'll take a pic to prove it just as soon as I get back, yeah, that's the ticket...
