Ya know, we moved to Montana before I even had a learner's permit, but I left California with the impression that California drivers were indeed laid back. Montana went through some serious growing pains in certain cities when they had significant increases in traffic over the past 20 years. Some would say the collective is still going through growing pains when it comes to traffic behavior. Certain cities the traffic behavior can only be called asshattery.
