What I think has happened over here in Aust & NZ is that the models are still 07 with the addition of new style tank & seats, they have probobly run out of 07 style tanks & seats and they have added the new style components to fill the backlog of orders. If they are being assembled in Thailand that would explain why we have the new style first (geographicaly speaking)and the fact that they haven't been officially launched by Triumph suggests to me that the new model America will come out with fuel injection and will undergo the appropiate Media Launch etc.
So what does that make mine - a "Hybrid" I spose, I'm glad to still have carbies and I'm glad that I can still add on aftermarket pipes, and I'm glad to be riding the best cruiser available
