I've just bought a Corbin seat, and need some advise about leather versus vinyl, so I'm putting this as a separate post.

I've paid for the seat so that at least they can get started on it, but I need to let them know how I would like it finished. Their web site recommends that the top panel be leather, but that the side panels should be finished in vinyl because it's supposed to support the seat better. It just seems odd to pay that much for a seat that isn't all leather, but I suppose they know their business.

For those of you that have Corbins seats, are your side panels leather or vinyl, and what is your opinions about this?

All of mine have been leather so I can't compare, alli can say is the leather works very well for me..220lbs.

They told me the same thing...and I thought what your thinking. I went all leather but heavier on the sides, black shark I think.

mine are vinyl as far as i know. After 3 seasons I'd say the vinyl looks as good as or better than the leather.

Mine is all leather, and works very well for me, very comfy also have the back rest as well in leather.
