Get the Rotella T and change it every 3K. No problems , no expenditures beyond what a gallon jug of it runs you at Wally world.
If you dont want the Rotella T than get the Mobil synthetic at Wally World......cheaper than amsoil and if you are going to change every 3k or so no worries of any kind.
The recommended intervals for syns are way more than 3000 miles.
Most of us on this forum are anal retentive when it comes to oil both in terms of what oil we prefer and how often we change it.
