I have been running with the Triumph Synthetic oil since day one in all of my modern Triumphs (and I have had a few). In my latest bike 06 Scrambler I decided to run semi-synthetic and I have to say that this bike has the smoothest shifting transmission and a much smoother running engine than any of the previous bikes. Even on a cold start up all I get is a slight "click" when shifting into first the first time before moving out. All of the other shifting is quiet and extremely smooth. I will stay with the semi-synthetic.
