Just about anything that you would like as long as you get some that do not touch the pipes and you put some guards so they dont get into the rear wheel.

I have been trying to source some brackets without sucess. I don't really want the Triumph bags as there are so many different options outside of Triumph's own range.

Any idea what will fit, where I can get them and what kind of price I could be looking at.

I am based in the UK and have been advised that Trumph brackets cost £99.99 without the bags which I think is a bit steep!

Am I unrealistic or just tight?

By the way sorry to hijack the thread but it is relative . . . I think?

Soren,
Do you know off-hand which plain guards will fit? Either I'm looking in the wrong place , or I just haven't found them made specifically for our bike. Thanks.

Two big bags...Kuryakn Gran Throw Over and Nelson Riggs CL-850. You can get them both here at the best prices: Motorcycle Luggage
I ahve the CL 850s adn they are nice. I installed them using Easy Brackets I got from Brent (also the best price I found).

I've just done a couple of thousand miles using bags from http://www.bikersoutfitter.com/ (with EZ Brackets).

They worked great, hold a boatload, look good, and they make them right there in Mass. Best I've found, and they seem like they're made for the America (they're not). I don't have any connection to the company - they just gave me great service and good quality. They're a little pricey, but if I wanted to save money, I'd be driving a Subaru with the last guy's "I heart people who care" bumper stickers still on it.

If you're paying in pounds, Baby - you're a rich man at the moment, with two quid to the buck.

Pics are here:

(By the way, I think the actual model is http://www.bikersoutfitter.com/item403279.ctlg

- easy to carry a passenger with them on. There's not much studding on them, but I don't care for the Harley "Village People" look. Plenty of room in them for a tow-rope to get your Harley buddies back home.

LeatherneckJims. All the Sequoia models fit with EZ Brackets.
This is the Sequoia XL, with the optional lock pin (on the flap) for a small padlock. Top Quality!!

No gaurd needed with e-z brackets, but do look into reinforceing the back on the brackets.
