The way thats mounted seems a little more secure than I thought. If you look, the loops are ovaled so the hammer cant spin around...and its pitched forward a bit with the frame so when you do hit a bump, it doesnt go straight out the top. Plus the wind hitting it keeps it down a bit as well as the weight of the hammer. Its scientifically spellbinding!!..ahha


The way they mounted it is pretty cool, but one pot hole and I think may fall out!

At the same time though, the hammer is quite top heavy, so the forces are always going to be there for it to come out. I know that it's cantered forward (for possibly easy reach). Something like a leather snap holding it in would keep relieve my mind a bit. Especially from it going through an unsuspecting cagers windshield.
I do like the idea though! Plus, it's your bike! Do what you want to it! I would love to see pics of the finished product!!
