Hey guys I was wondering how everyone went about mounting the front blinkers on the forks? I just put new mirrors and grips and little blinkers on the back and now they look super out of place.. Any alternative to the $90 Ma's Bracket?? thanks

Yes,I drilled and tapped into the tree that the forks fit thru.I used 5/16 socket head bolts.I drilled a thru hole in the turn signal housing to run the bolt thru. Then reconnected the wiring.

Ok saw your pic... Where did you drill in the tree? Just behind the forks themselves?

I just marked a spot centered on the tree width. The blinker will mount on the tree away from the fork shrouds. You don't have to drill and tap deep, just a 1/2 long screw will work.I just lined it up by eyeballing it,bro.

I have mine attached to the bottoms of the JC Whitney lightbar on some aluminum angle brackets oriented at right angles to the bike and the lights bolted to this.

Here's a pic. Although you cannot see the brackets, you can see the nut for the bolt that I attached them to just above the pumpkin (ran another nut onto the bottom of the bolt)

I mounted mine on the fly screen brackets using Kuryakyn parts.

Thanks Wiz.

So if you kept drilling, you would have gone right into the fork, right?

If you have your fork shrouds off, there's a few options out there of 41mm fork clamps that you can use to mount your turn signals to between the upper and lower fork trees. Shrouds off with gaiters is a fairly common mod.

I considered that, but I'm not a huge fan of the gators... I wish I was comfortable with just NO shrouds... but I worry about the maintenance issues...
