...and from Mr. Lexicographer, I'd like to point out that this is one of those phrases that can be used to work out how old someone is. Those who remember movies with Errol Flynn will use "In like Flynn," but those who remember the spoof spy movie "In Like Flint" will actually use the phrase "In like Flint." The movie title itself was a play on the phrase "In Like Flynn" but then became the phrase in itself.
So,40 and under are likely to be "in like Flint" whereas folks 50 and above are more likely to be "in like Flynn." Those of us in that middle land could swing either way - and that's a double entendre if ever I heard one
