Richard, the floor board kit is available from your dealer. It cost me $380 Cdn, expensive, but well worth it for me. The brackets that come with the kit bolt to the same mount that the pegs are on. It's a quick R&R. The brake and shifter are reused, and fit onto the new brackets. As has already been mentioned, you will need to adjust the shifter to get your footwear under the lever comfortably. This is easily done though by adjusting the turnbuckle style rod, and I had to turn the rear leaver clockwise two notches.
I'm not sure how the after market products work.
