My Dad had the floor boards on he BA. I/we didn't like them when stopped or trying to put the kick stand down. I/we also had troubles with the heel toe shifter and had to switch it back for him. I went with the switch blades on my BA very nice and have been on a couple of 180-300 mile trips. I am only 5' 8" tall and have a short inseam as well. I can hook my heels over the top of the blades like a foot rest, my legs are too short for a highway bar so I get the best of both worlds with them..
