I did not like the feet forward riding position at all. I can now move my hoofs around and calves are almost perpendicular to the ground. If I wanted to for some bizarre reason, I can lift my bottom-side off the seat.

Like many of my accessories, I refused to pay full retail and went used. Found a set from a member who didn't care for them for $200 shipped. If you're not in a rush, wait for a used set to show up, as the retail asking price is way too high IMHO.

My experience echo's Tom. I like being able to put my feet at the rearmost edge. I'd ditch those forward controls if there was a cost effective way. My used bike came with the floor boards, so the orginal owner took the hit on cost.
