I've been thinking about removing the back rest on my SM and mounting some type of trunk on the luggage rack.
Givi makes some nice looking ones, but the price is kind of high. JC whitney has one with a back rest built in for $75
Probably not the same quality as the Givi, but about $175 less. If you have mounted one what are the pros & cons
