it is best to start the project on a Saturday. Try to have 1 or 2 friends around. After the 4th whisky and water you should have enough nerve to take the cutting wheel to your $450 msrp rear fender. And by the time you wake up on Sunday morning, try to remember what you did the day before, you will discover a beautifully bobbed rear fender laying on the floor of your garage.
