Tough question since our bikes hardly ever get mentioned in any magazine at all. But, I like both Cycle World and Motorcyclist.

RoadRunner - It's an in depth touring magazine. Great stories about great rides in great places, and a little bike evaluation.

I too get RoadRunner and like it very much. It only comes out every couple of months though.

My favorite magazine is Motorcycle Classics. It is a bi monthly magazine. Has lots and lots of Triumphs.

As for current bikes, then Cycle World is very good. But in all honesty if i want to read about todays bikes I prefer the British magazines. They are not so politically correct, they arnt afraid to call a turd a turd.

Oh, and they have pretty girls

I lke to stay abreast of the "enemy" so I read American Iron...it's the Fox News of H-D
I'm still looking for a great read on our babies and so far it looks like I'll have to go overseas to get it.

I'll agree to that, most other magazines only cover a specific type of motorcycle like V-twin or American Iron. Both of those mags keep you pretty well informed about the motorcycle industry as a whole.

Correct, I mistakenly assumed I'd be an H-D owner and now I have three years of a near useless (to me) magazine...excepting, of course, Canadian bike master Donnie Peterson's most excellent technical discussions which apply to all engines.

Motorcyclist did a very good article on helmets a few years ago. Took on the big boys, lost a few ads and told it as they saw it.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I like many of the ones mention but I also like Barnett's when I'm looking for customizing ideas.

Lately I've been picking All Metric Road Bike, the last three issues have all had a write on Triumphs, The Scrambler, the speedmaster, and the tiger. And they seem to give a fair evaluation of most of their write ups. One of the guys I know is leaning towards getting a Scrambler, I gave he the mag and also told him the last thing the guy says is don't buy this bike. And he said REALLY! I said thats what he says, "Don't buy this bike if you don't like getting a lot of attention because where ever you stop someone is going to be asking about the bike" Was a good write up.
