While you've got a point, I stand by my first impression. But it's just that -- an opinion. And it's directed at Triumph, not Hoffo. It's still a great bike, it just reminds me of how Harley took a fairly distinctive tank on the sportster and replaced with with a blob.

There are two things that make the looks of the Bonneville America iconic - the tank and the engine. Every other design element is fairly generic. One of those is now gone. You may like the new tank but it's far less distinctive.
