And since I posted a picture of Sonny Angel, I might as well say that Sonny built a CB750 before Honda did. Sonny built a four cylinder, featherbed framed superbike for Norton. Sort of. Norton baulked at Sonny's proposal but Sonny went ahead and built one. He took a 900cc Hillman four cylinder car engine (I used to have a ' 64 Hillman Minx
) and crammed it into the Norton Featherbed frame. Cycle World did a write up on this back in March 07.
