I purchased a new Suzi GT550 in 72. I wanted the Triumph Hurricane setting in the same showroom. I could kick my butt for not buying the Hurricane. Finances dictated my decision. I was young and dumb and probably would have sold the Triumph just as I did the GT.
Anyway I loved the GT550, fast as lighting and very dependable. I still roam the want adds and fleabay looking to find another GT. 1972, ah yes.
