DUH!!! Thanks folks. Boy do I feel stupid! Guess you might suspect I'm not the most mechanically inclined. I don't remember the old 72 Bonnie I rode back in the 70's having one of those. Maybe it did and I just don't remember. Been a long time. Anyway, I just made a 900 mile roundtrip to pick up my America and I was beginning to think there was a reason for the good deal I got.
