I went out to start my bike this morning, so I sat on the seat, turned the switch on and to my surprise; the bike lunges forward and wants to start without me on it. Has this happened to anybody before?
I did stop by the carwash the day before to wash it off and obviously something got wet that made all the safety switches short out, including the start button. The trans was in 1st gear so that’s one switch that shorted, and the side stand was down so that's another switch shorted, and I did not press the start button so that's another switch shorted. It has me stumped. I don’t see how all three shorted out. I took the starter button apart, and I did notice some corrosion on the plastic insulator part, so I cleaned it off and sprayed with WD-40; I hope it don't happen again.

Anybody got any suggestions as to what else I can do to remedy this?
