Hi all
Just a short note to say Ive rid the vibration problem I had at around 3000rpm. It may help others too. I previously had 2 baffles removed and the 3rd baffle drilled with 4 holes. I knew these holes didnt line up and one hole was touching another on the right side. Today I decided to remove the 3rd baffle completely. I spent a few hours on the bike going here and there and the vibration problem is gone from the handlebar and grips. There is a slight rumble feeling at the feet but no where near what the bars used to have. And this time I can feel it is the exhaust. Feels like its where the 4th baffle is.
Im guessing that when you drill the pipes, if its not a similar flow through each exhaust then it will upset the balances enough to cause vibrations on the bike. Both exhausts had the same amount of holes just spread differently.
I have made no other changes so this must have been the problem. Especially since it wasnt there before I started playing with the baffles.
Regards
Derek

Eureka! Nice when things get sorted out!

Very good!!

When I drilled my stock pipes, I took great care to drill both pipes identically, both as to the size and location of each hole. I never had any vibration.
