Hi all, saw this thread and thought I'd put myself there in the mix. I'm from Canberra and bought a 2005 Speedie from Pro Cycles Sydney last September. Without exageration I had no idea what this purchase was going to do to me. I'm not kidding, I just love my bike to death and already have spent close to $5000 improving her and put 14k on the clock in 10 months. For interest, here's a photo
Anyway as well as commuting, I've had 3 large rides including an interesting one coming home along the Pacific when the floods in Newcastle hit. Holy dooley was that interesting but you know what, Misty (my Speedie) never missed a beat once. BTW, I would have looked at going on the Rat ride in August but my leave passes and bank book are looking lean at the moment. Maybe we as Aussie Bonneville members can look at something in the future, say tacked onto a Rat ride or whatever. Just an idea?
