I ditched my speedo when it stopped working at 26000ks. I bought a Drag Specs mini speedo ( 2240:60 ) with a billit mount, drilled and tapped a hole in my handlebars and mounted it directly to the bars for a clean, compact look. I had to have the cable lengthened which caused a headache until i discovered that the fitting at the wheel end is the same as on Kabyto lawn tractors. Done 3800 miles so far without dramas.
