I bought some risers from Brent. in the meantime, i got to looking at the screws/bolts that hold the handlebars. Anyone have an idea as to how these handlebar clamp screws can be removed? I was thinking maybe those are little covers that pop off to expose a hex or head? Here's a pic.

They just pop out and there are allen head bolts underneath. I use a razor knife to pry them up.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

You nailed it! Use your fingernail and pry them off. Hex head underneath.
