Actually our bikes would classify as "small cruisers" ......
The Rocket is of course "GARGANTUAN"
the competition for cruiser sales from all the rest Jap or otherwise entails significantly more CC.
Example given Honda.....1300 and 1800. Honda does make smaller cruisers but I think the 1300 and 1800 are big sellers for them The Yamahammers and Suzukis all run in that class more or less.
The Kawasaki vulcan 900 is the one that is closest to ours in size and its considered small by most.
Victory and Harley all contend for those who must buy American and want the traditional big V-twin.
A Trumpet at 1500 CC will be a unique bit especially as a true to form looking parallel Twin.
1500 CC will fill the mid range from small (America , Speedie to the ugly yet fast Rocket.) There are those who just must have more than 865 CC.
I think most of us on this forum thirst for more.
