When I change to any other color other than the default Red and Gray, the message at the top of the forum ("Attention: If you have not used blah blah....") is displayed in this super large font.

Is that message necessary when one is logged in already? Can it be removed or make the font real small?

I agree, that banner is extremely annoying. Here's another thread on the same subject:

It's up there because Robert was getting inundated with emails asking why they had to re-signup when they were a member on the old board. I will ask him if it is still necessary...
