Well, I have an albino tiger 1050 and it's the PERFECT bike for myself. It's got new model issues...shifting is noiser than the America, fuel guage basically doesn't work (I don't care)...but other than that it is the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle (with clothes on).
I now have a total different view riding these days...I look at all sportbikes (which I never used to do)on the road, and with the exception of bonnies (seriously!!) I think most cruisers just look goofy, and I feel real comfortable now wearing my helmet...it just fits a bike like this.
It naturally cruises on the highway at around 80-95mph...and no buffering at all (some riders do complain about buffering but I think it was tested for my average height). And when you want to get around slow traffic or out of problem situations...it takes about a 1/4 second..and excellaration/ride is butterysmooth!
Anyway, awesome bike that I plan on keeping for years....but I will say I haven't become attached to it yet like I was to my America. I actually patted my America on the tank when I last rode it...and said thanks (I did, no kidding). Had to keep telling myself it is just a machine.
