Recently I heard a statistic that surprised me. A survey of men was conducted about what was important to them. The 5 most important things for men (in order) were as follows,

1. Sexual Fulfillment
2. Recreational Companionship
3. Physical Attractiveness
4. Domestic Support
5. Admiration

Now the first spot didn't surprise me much. Afterall, men are who they are. But, the number 2 position was "recreational companionship,' - and that surprised me a bit.

But, as a thought about it more, this survey explain the "babes & bikes" phenomenon.

So, after much persuasion, I talked the Mrs. into taking a motorcycle tour over an extended weekend. In analyzing the weekend, - it was fun, but my wife is good for only about 200 miles a day. Plus, she liked to keep me on the straight and narrow with regard to my speed (over the intercom). So, speeding tickets were not a concern.

But, all things considered, it was fun.

See a picture at this link.

"Speedmaster" is a title not a name, - and the title is not plural.

See I thought number two and number one were pretty much the same sport just #2 was a team event...

Hmmm, - oldroadie, never thought of that.

You must be some kind of Gold medalist, - whereas I am just one of the "honorable mentions."

I've tried for a long time to intice the Mrs. onto the back of one of my recent bikes but I think that last sidecar ride did her in (okay, so maybe it was a bit dicey). These days it's a solo seat and the sound of the wind and rumblng pipes for me.

My wife loves riding 2-up with me. On the bike. And I enjoy her company.

Intercom? No thanks. It's more fun talking about stuff you see when you stop for breaks or at the end of the ride.
And more peaceful I'm guessing.

Let me guess!
1. Sexual Fulfillment - Rosie Palms?
2. Recreational Companionship - Jack Daniels?
3. Physical Attractiveness - Mirror?
4. Domestic Support - Jock Strap?
5. Admiration - See # 3?

Sorry Bro, you left that one WIDE open....

later, Tom.

But, what do I know?

Wendy thought she would still want to ride on mine with me when she first got her bike hasn't happened except the rare time we have no choice. She loves her bike and is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to ideas for me to do custom changes. It is a bit nerve wracking on me at times since I worry sometimes and always advise her on simple things she does wrong that could end up not so simple later.
