I replaced my front disc with the ECB Floating Rotor and Sintered Pads. I also replaced the front springs with some Progressive Dual Rate. Overall my bike stopping capability is so much superior to stock. Can't see where or when I would need more capability. I would try this route first and see how it works for you.
