MegaCycle Cams tell them you want a medium street grind for your cams. About $250 each if I remember correctly.
I looked into having them do mine once. Now a local guy says he can do them for me too. I'm just real leery about screwing up $900 worth of parts. Maybe this winter.
If you want your heads done, mine were done by Seely Engineering and Machine in Stanley, NY (585) 526-6663. He did mine for $100 cash when I did my big bore job. He is an old Triumph guy that owns a very nice high tech hot rod engineering shop, builds the fastest race cars around this area. He's also the same guy that said he could do my cams for me. He once quoted me a guestimate of $250 to do them with a mid street/drag grind. I admit, I don't understand the relationship with the cams vs hp/torque etc but he sure does. When he did my heads I was a bit leery until he started pulling several boxed off his shop shelves all with old Triumph heads in them that he had recently reworked for soem local racers. They looked like new and was very high quality work. Mine was the first "new" twin motor he has worked on but said he is very interested in doing some radical work if anyone is interested. We even talked briefly about building a Triumph flat track bike, his personal favorite project to work on. His eyes light up and you can see the guys is a rabid Triumph head just by talking to him for a few minutes.
