Just saw this post, sorry for the late reply. I mounted mine to the key switch cover, just used a spare opener I had. Very easy to wire. I have wire pix if you are interested. That switch pictured is a $4 micro momentary switch from Radio shack which worked fine. I later replaced it with a $20 marine switch from Grainger.
