Just watching the telly and Charlie Daniels is talking about a concert tomorrow night in Nashville to raise enough money (they are also accepting donations) to get a house for an American hero. Here's a couple of excerpts from the site:

"An effort is underway to help a Nashville area soldier, Sgt. Kevin Downs, who was severely wounded in combat while serving in Iraq. Kevin Downs, only 22 years old now, was severely wounded in Iraq in August of 2005..."

"Kevin needs and deserves a home where he can care for himself, get around safely, perhaps even earn a living. His neighbors and friends are committed to getting that done for him. It will require a massive volunteer effort, and of course lots of monetary donations."
