Happened to me last night. Chy led me to this thread. When it happened with my Mikuni setup, it was air in the fuel line. Not much chance of that now back to stock carbs. Was near the end of a 160 mile run and bam, no power, bike cut right out at 45 mph. Pulled over, turned the key, back to life. Didn't happen again the last 20 miles.
