The racing news gets me to peek in every week or two. I like hearing about Bill's flat track effort and Jojje's drag racing. It's also nice to see some of the builds they're doing over there with the Wiseco kits. I thought maybe some day I'd bore out my bike and shoot for 90+ hp, but with the cost involved I think now I'd rather just buy another bike for the amount of money it takes.
About a week or so ago, my local Triumph dealer had a used 2005 Suzuki Bandit with 7,000 miles on it on ebay. The winning bid ended up being $3500. It would cost more than that to do an 1100cc Wiseco kit on my bike. Nope, I'll just leave the Speedmaster the way it is. Too many other good bikes out there to spend my money on.
