DO NOT use the Kury Universal 1" grips on your bike, they won't work! I tried them first, cut the stock grip off, sanded down the throttle body ribs, and by the time the grip is installed it squeezes the throttle body so hard that it won't snap closed when you release it. That's right, I had to twist the throttle open AND closed. The service guys at Kuryakyn were no help at all, they thought the 1" should have worked. I finally found the correct grips listed at Ma's Cycles in South Dakota (or was it north?). Anyway, the grip they have listed for the Speedmaster/America is KA6236 and this is the right one. Went together no problem. Just follow the link above posted by bonnyusa. I have the throttle boss too, and it is what you are looking for.
