You will probably be better off with the universals, because you will use your Triumph sleeve on the throttle grip. The slot for cable ferrules is a lot stronger than the Kuryakyn ones. When you cut the rubber grip off your Triumph sleeve (comes off easy with a utility knife), you will need to smooth out the ridges and little bumps on the plastic sleeve. When you get it where it will slide into the Kury grip, I'd suggest using some KY jelly to start it and when you have about 1" still out, apply glue and slide it the rest of the way. Be sure to leave enough space between grip and cable holder (measure befor cutting old grip off). The space is around ¼" I think.
