That's a sweet Yamaha you have there...well maybe I don't hate ALL 2 strokes! Tried running it without the filter in place and same problem. Put my hand over the air intake at full throttle, hoping to create enough suction to clear it a few times and still runs the same. Took a piece of a wood shim and jammed it in the choke lever to lodge it at half position and was able to finish the yard.... Yeah, I know, I Harley engineered it!
