With out a doubt, the worst beer in the history of beers...

O'douls! Non-alcoholic!?!?! What's the point?

When I was a kid, living in Germany, my mom would buy Karamalz Malt Beverage. I loved it but haven't had it since. It's 0.2% alchohol so considered "non-alcoholic". When O'Douls and the like came out, I always thought it was the precursor to those beverages. I'd love to find some now. Any Euro members want to send me six-pack? <g>

Come on Greybeard,
It was 25 cents a can - I loved it. The cokes were a dime higher. Guess what I drank?

Had a bud once. Could not believe they called it beer.
It was worse than Emu bitter from West Oz and they make that out of emu p..s....
Favourite beer at the moment as I am off the home brewing, is Hahn premium light. I like the taste. Especially when it is very very cold.
Is it true that pommies don't have cold beer? Unbelievable!!!!

What all of you lot are calling beer we call lager. And yes we do have that cold. My bro in law drinks Hahn.

What we call beer is traditionally drunk warm.

However right now I'm drinking wine. Mainly as it was free.

Anything free usually tastes good. Well eventually anyway.
I grew up in the Hunter Valley and later worked near the Barossa Valley. I have an appreciation for a good wine or five.

Sam Miguel. This stuff is rat's urine IMO and can only be very loosely described as a beer. Not only does it taste , it's supplied in stupid little bottles.

Not up here it ain't Gina.. Think it's a North/ South thing...you guys prefer your ale warmer, we prefer our ale cooler. Think between 3 and 9 degrees is preferred for the ales in the North...

It would be a tossup between:
1. Singha from Thailand
2. 33 from Vietnam
The only reason I drank those is there was nothing else!

Gotta be my neighbors "boot beer"...We ran out on a Sunday here in Georgia (blue law), so we resorted to my neighbors home brew, that had been sitting up for a while...My brother takes a big swig, and says "Go**amn, tastes like it was brewed in a boot"....thus the name, "boot beer"

Coors Light ? I thought that was bottled water.

Heh heh..you go that right.
But it gets even more watered down when it's 3.2% like all beer in OK is..except what you can get in the liquor stores.
Hardly any domestic brews available at the liquor stores. I like imports (mainly Dos Equis amber), but sometimes i'd like to have a Bud, Michelob, or MGD if was in excess of 3.2 only....and to save a little money once in awhile.
Crappy liquor laws but there is talk of changing them so that Whole Earth Foods or Trader Jim's will come to Bricktown in OKC, OK. They won't come here unless they are allowed to sell their wines in their stores....if that happens strong beer would follow on it's coat tails.

Hey, i just had some after many years....it wasn't all that bad. It doesn't have any gross after taste or anything. Didn't feel bad the next day or anything. Kinda liked it. Not a lot of character but not bad.

I've always figured that bad beer is like bad sex. Generally, even when it's bad it's good. Some is better than others but doing without is not really an option.

You guys bring back some bad memories. In the early seventies my friend was driving a beer truck and dropped off 3 cases of Pearl.Couldn't drink it so I tried using it for all sorts of things. I found out that it was great for cooking Brats in.
Life is too short to drink light beer.

25 years ago, when I was a senior in college, I lived with 5 other guys. One Saturday there were 4 of us, and we were all completely broke. We scrounged the couch cushions, under the car seats and everywhere we could think of and raised about $5. We went to the store to see what we could get, and there was a sale on cases of "Fitzgers" Beer. It was $4 for the case. We could cover the cost and the deposit. We were happy as heck and brought it back. That beer was so frigging nasty that between the 4 of us, we left 8 bottles untouched. They eventually wound up going back full for the nickel deposit.
As a second choice, I would say Heilemans Special Export. It wasnt nicknamed "The Green Death" for nothing....

Export San Miguel is horrible. The fresh stuff in the Philipines was pretty good. Especially when it was real cold. Occasionally you'd get a bad one and wind up with the San Magu Squirts. When that happened you could sh1t through a screen door.

I was a bit young for VietNam so I never had 33. But there is one good thing about Singha. It doesn't take many. That stuff is stronger than most wine and it comes in huge bottles.
