I completely agree with you! (altho I had to edit a few things....) Like I said in the guitarist thread, being able to play THE solo over and over again just means you practiced a lot. Being able to set up a groove with a group is another thing entirely!
Oh and Martin, I met Christian McBride, nice guy! Gave a good clinic at WPI when I was there.
