KISS did rock! But just for a relatively few years. I really like KISS myself, but truly don't think they even come close to what AC/DC has accomplished. RUSH! OH My goodness I Love Rush! However, they have been a tad flakey in their career. Undoubtably, they are the most educated of all bands. They are definitely the Thinking Mans Rock Band. Unfortunately, to truly understand what RUSH says you really have to be sober. NOT a good point with the rock-and-roll crowd. RUSH is too freakin intelligent to qualify for this poll. I know, it's not fair. I appreciate RUSH more than any of my contemporaries, but "The Trees" just doesn't even come close to "Shot Down In Flames" in my book.
