When I bought my 03 Speedmaster there were Triumph´s short offroad pipes mounted on the bike.
Now I finally has get rid of the first baffle (with the help of all you at the forum) and taken out the damping material.
What about the 31cm(12")tube that is still inside from the second baffle. Should I remove this also or could I then damage the second baffle??
I still don´t know if I should remove or drill the second one,I also will remove the Al, put a UNI filter on and a 130 mains.
I can´t find any info on the forum if the TOR pipes are built in the same way as the stock pipe with 3 baffles??

Is it anyone out there who has debaffled the TOR short pipes???
I have drilled out the first baffle and managed to completely loosen the 12" tube.
The problem is that I can´t get the tube out since it want come out of the hole of the second baffle ??
(Don´t know how to explain it but if you have debaffled the TOR´s you probably know what i´m talking about.)
Now the tubes is completely loose and rattles inside the pipes.
A solution would be to knock the second baffle also and take them out together with the tube. Has anybody done this and how easy is it to take the second baffle out??

Can you grab the tube with a slide hammer? My slide hammer has a vise grip attachment. If you don't have one maybe you can find a friend who does. If not maybe rig something like it.

I experinced the same problem with the tube. I think the only way to remove it is to take something long and sharp, like a piece of re-bar with the end filed to a wedge, and puncture the baffle that the tube is welded to. Insert the puncturing device from the large end, and use a flashlight to note your progress as you knock out the final baffle. I tried everything short of this with no luck at all. Honestly, I think that leaving the tube and one baffle is a better idea, as it will create just enough back pressure, so that you won't lose any low-end power. The loudness increase is minimal when running the TOR's straight, as opposed to leaving the tube and rear baffle. Also, leaving the tube in will keep the Police nightstick test from getting you a ticket.

I managed to drill a couple of holes real close to the tube to get the hole bigger and finally the tube come out of the second baffle. But I still seem to have a third baffle with a small tube inside so I will leave this.
