Well thats just mean. You dont play nice. My momma told me about boys like you.

Maybe you should remind us that before we kicked your keester, we WERE you. And if the keester-kicking hadn't taken place an ocean away, we might all be spelling with extra u's right now.

And before all you chauvinists jump on me - yes I do love America. But I study history.

Chevy dealer for 25 years off and on... tech, shop foreman and for the last 10 or 12 years.. parts department.

Good for you. Bad for Chevy. Good for Triumph.

Dang dad, I am sooooo glad for ya. They are getting a heck of a good mechanic and a great guy for the price of one. Will you sign my North Ga. Triumph t shirt? I hope it all works out for you and you remain "a kid in a candy store". I finally have a mechanic I can truly trust....congrats, bro...Gordon
P.S. Are the rumors true about the 1500cc Speedmaster??? Come on tell us...

Yep..still struggling with the local lingo. When did you Americans stop speaking English and start speaking American. Left me totally confused.

Even my children give me American lessons each night.

You know, of course, that that unnecessary "u" is a leftover from the French(spit) spelling.

Chy, that's just awesome buddy.... very happy for you, you deserve it. I turned in my notice as well, just couldn't hack it anymore, slight problem though, I should have probably found another job first.
So you're going to Cumming everyday? Does this mean a twice daily pass through the field of arse????? I haven't been quite the same since.... it's kind of like the car wreck phenomon. I don't really want to go that route again, ever, but I can help but feeling I am must. Maybe you could just send me a PM once in awhile rating the aroma on a scale of 1 to 10. One being that only your eyes water and you feel the need to wipe off with one of those pocket sized moist towelettes..... Ten being that the bike starts running rough from the fouled fuel/air mixture and it feels as though someone is scraping the inside of your skull with a dirty barbeque brush and your clothes need to be wrapped in a Hefty bag and buried along the road under a full moon.

Help me, I can't stop thinking about it......

Excellent!!

Life's too short to be in a job you don't like (and too short for bad beer)

I am in the same industry (banking) but have switched companies 3x in the last 6 years. Finally happy where I am and have no plans on leaving (unless perhaps for more money.. afterall.. I am a banker)

just my 2 cents

Hey Chy, you can exhale now! Great move. I've been thinking of going into a motorcycle related business myself, even have a business plan, but it's very safe just staying in my present business. Again, good for you.

Yep.. started Tuesday. Gotta tell ya.. after 10 years behind a keyboard, it's kicking my butt, lots o' aches and pains. Been quite awhile since I made a living cranking wrenches.
Bunch of residual Suzukis around but today was pretty cool .. did a 500 mile service on a Tiger and finished assembly of a Rocket.
They had my name up on the moving marquis the first day introducing me as their new tech.. sweeeeeeet.. took a pic with my phone.

Geezer advice time .

If you really hate your job, and have that much time.
Take a page from Chy's book.
Do something that you like (or at least don't hate).
