Considering that the older engines produced the same power and torque, and the 270 version had a bit milder valve timing than the 360 engine, I can't help thinking that the 270 degree one has the potential to produce a little more power at the same engine speed. The gotcha is that the 360 produces half as many sparks per revolution, so it could be made to turn much faster before running out of spark, giving it a potential to produce quite a bit more power.
