It's sad to me that a real phenomenon has become trivialized by a series of pop concerts that themselves were an enormous waste of electricity. It also seems to me that we can't really discerrn if we're causing this or it's just a normal planetary cycle. Still, what's the loss in being conservation minded? Less resource abuse means more for all of us and that's a good thing, isn't it?
