IMHO I thought the concerts were great and the message even better. I do a agree that, yes, organizing and producing such a large scale event requires a lot of resources that do create a large amount of pollution. However I believe what was gained will far our weigh the harm created. A lot of these artists have switched and are switching to bio-diesel on their tours buses.

The point wasn't for musicians to toot their own horn but to create a message that if each of us just made small changes in our daily lives and routines we could collectively reduce the harm we create on the environment.

Being probably one of the youngest members on this board this issue is ever more important being that my time spent on earth will be far more affected by global warming than many of yours. We can not individually eliminate the damage that has been done but collectively we can reduce the harm.

This is in no means a jab at anyone on the board here but simply a different, younger perspective on Live Earth and its intended message.
