Hadn't thought about the sensor, Derek. I will look at the signal output from that (now that I am home, I have access to more electronics test equipment). Pat, don't have a scope but I wonder if an analog meter would show the pulse?

I checked that link Tom and of course, my VIN shows nothing. As some extra ammo, I also emailed Peter Carleo with the bulletin number, the gist of the contents, and asked whether Triumph would honor that one years later. I hope to have an answer tomorrow...
