Thanks all. It's a Pergo-like laminate. Came in 6" wide by 42" long I got from a local laminate store. I do not have any manufacturer info though, sorry. It has the foam under it, separately installed. I also used plastic as a vapor barrier.
The shine is built in, believe it or not. It still looks that good after 5-6 years too.
