After talking with another designer were I work, he liked the skull but thought skulls are way to common and overused. So, we thought of a few things and he suggested a wheel in place of it. I thought that was a pretty good idea and replaced the skull with a spoked wheel. I've also made a number of minor changes to the bike/rider as well. I think I'm "done" now. I'm waiting to hear back from a printer on cost...

Well heck, Mark! It's still there! It's right under that big ol' "U" in Triumph! See it?! It's inside that dude's helmet.

Actually Matt, you're gonna hate me now, but I think that darn skull WAS a better idea than that wheel, ol' buddy!

I'm still pullin' for the head of an english bulldog, or that "Lion Rampant" thing-a-ma-bob in that space there.

(I TOLD YA that you were gonna hate me)

(there's just no pleasin' some folks, ya know)

I really liked the skull, but I would take either one of them!

Wonder if there is any way you could sell your design to Triumph?

Dude, you captured the experience, through your image, of riding, (a Triumph of course), in my minds eye, except for the skull.

What is up with the bones? Maybe a symbol of infinity or even chaos, but the bones gotta go. The skull seems to invite a means to an end, and brother, I see no "end" when I ride...

Now get back into your zone, and look to riding and living, forever.

T-shirt Design I whipped up

Matt,
You did not whip that up - it was inspired (breathed into you). I love it and I want four (2 XL & 2M) without the skull - we've already got one of those. Thanks!

Sorry to nitpick here too Matt, but I really like almost everything about this cool design of yours too, except the skull.

I was thinking in place of the skull have you perhaps thought about either a figure of the "Lion Rampant"(the famed U.K. lion reared up on his hind legs with it's paws out forward), or maybe the head of an english bulldog in about the same size and scale as that skull? I think that would be pretty cool and would continue the theme that you've got going on here.

Agree.

And wouldn't you know it had to be with Dwight.

He was fun while he lasted.

I like it but the skull is the only detriment. Far too cliched and juvenile (the skull that is)

Other than that Its a instant classic.

Never have understood the affinity for the skull in terms of its ever present and consistently cliched usage in the scooter world.

Why Kev, that's 'cuz it's the only "cool" way grown men can still be like "totally Goth", Dude!!!

I'm surprised you've never picked up on that little subtlety???!!!

(sneering at authority figures is also recommended to complete the look)

Perhaps. However, I have never needed a skull as a requisite indication of my discontent for "the man"

I sneer very well with no illustrations needed to complete the "looK"

I dont think we will see the ever present skull going away any time soon.

I personally think a nice representation of an medieval dragon head would be more classic and classy than the skull.

the use of the dragon in old English tales is ever present.

I agree the skull thing is over done. Same with the crosses.
Looks great and yes I would buy a one or two. I would steer away from the Cafe press, it would limit your options and drastically cut your profit.

I'll have to get a ruling on this by someone a little better versed in that whole "dungeons and dragons" thing than I am, Kev, but I'll bet you're right. I'll bet dragons eat skulls for lunch, Dude!

(which begs the question...I wonder if dragon poop has little bitty pieces of skull in it?)

SOLD!

When and where can I send money?

I, for one, appreciate your openness to suggestion and willingness to offer alternative. Thanks for that.

I can always use more long-sleeve T's, but this could work on a lot of things...patches, decals, black work shirts...

Good on ya!

I can't believe the number of printers I've contacted online (via their own "quote" forms) and NONE have gotten back to me (one is even a friend of a co-worker).

However, late yesterday I found a local printer, they had good price, and best of all where very quick to respond with a quote. I'm going to try and see some samples from them today hopefully and finalize details.

Assuming it all goes through, hopefully in a week or two I can start selling them? I haven't finalized price yet, but probably in the mid-teens is what I'm leaning towards. I do plan on getting a few larger sizes 2XL & 3XL.

For now it will be a standard t-shirt with the design printed on the front. However, I have thought about stickers which I think would be easy to do. Other clothing may happen in the future, we'll see how the initial t-shirt goes.

Again, assuming everything goes according to plan, I'll post final details in the "Vendor" section.

no pockets. It wouldn't jive with this front design.
Unless the image was moved to the back.

How do you want to handle the ordering?
A new thread?
PMs? etc.
