I can't comment on the controls because I don't know. The Carlini's that came on my TBA were bolted through the tree with 1/2' bolts any converter would have to be set up were the 1/2" shaft would only be long enough to fit inside the tee with the 10mm portion long enough to pass completely through the tree. My came with Carlini Slickbacks that had too much pullback and maede the riding position really cramped so I changed back to stock bars. Just my 2 cents worth...
